A boxing gym is a place to train hard, to show your grit, to have relentless determination in reaching your goals in fight and fitness. The Kennel Boxing Gym is where they "bring out the dog in you". I wanted to capture this sense of boldness, focus, tenacity, and toughness with the illustration style on the logo. Avoiding the overused symbols of boxing gloves or a boxing ring, I made the logo more personal to the gym itself by incorporating their beloved dog Champ as the focal point of the logo. As far as their fight team goes, I'm glad that I was able to assist them with a logo that they can be proud to wear and represent in competition.
